Adieu

Dear Bridge Family,

I wasn’t sure how or what I was going to say in this farewell post. It’s an impossible task because trying to find the right words has me reminiscing about so much.

Saying goodbye is always difficult and it’s even worse when it's to a place that made a mark and an impact on your life.

My time at The Bridge has been extremely rewarding, and I thank God that He placed me here when He did because I cannot recognize the woman I am now compared to the young lady I was when I started in November of 2019. This has been a training ground, to say the least, and I’m thankful for all the skills & experiences I have garnered during my time here.

This is the longest job I ever held, and my first real job after my Bachelor's degree so you can understand why this place holds a special place in my heart. It’s been a privilege because it was a rare opportunity for me to start out my career in the house of God, and have a strong footing to launch out for the rest of my journey. I’ve loved and enjoyed every moment of my being here, and this has been more than any regular 9-5.

I want to say a special thank you to Pastors Chris and Jenn, who have been wonderful bosses, always going over and above to listen to me, and accommodate me in ways that they can, and also to Carol who was always a beam of light (never a dull moment with her) and Hillary for all the wonderful conversations we got to have. Shoutout to Chloe also; we didn’t work together for long but the short time we spent together was memorable.

I cannot mention everyone individually but I’m grateful to every single person I got to work with, or talk to, directly or indirectly.

Thank you all.

It’s been a privilege to serve every one of you, and I wish you all the best!

Hopefully, we get to cross paths again in the future, and if not, we'll meet in heaven!
